How We Work

Once you are ready to get started, here is how we will proceed:

  1. When we first speak with you, we will ask you for your address (so we can look at your site online) and roof type. We will also ask you to send us one year's worth of electrical usage data. If you don't have that at hand, you can get this info from your utility online by following the appropriate link below:
  2. At a mutually convenient time we will come out to your location to take measurements and perform a Solar Pathfinder Analysis. The Solar Pathfinder Analysis will enable us to assess the amount of shading at your site and to properly size a system to meet your needs.
  3. After our analysis is complete, we will provide you with a detailed proposal and answer any questions that you might have.
  4. Once you accept our proposal, we will schedule an installation date.
  5. We will prepare and submit the necessary paperwork for reserving your rebate.
  6. We pull the permits for the job.
  7. Depending on the size of your system, installation usually takes anywhere from a few days (for smaller residential jobs) to a few weeks (for small to medium size commercial jobs).
  8. Once installation is complete, we will work with you and your utility to arrange the necessary inspections, complete the post-inspection rebate paperwork and make sure that you receive your rebate check.
